The master’s thesis is focused on management issues within the organization. It describes and evaluates selected management approaches to capture individual thoughts and consequently creates a comprehensive management philosophy that is applicable across a wide range of specialization. It also deals with the non-governmental non-profit sector, the introduction of a process approach and improvement through the Deming PDCA cycle.
Circumstances for drop out of youth in chosen ice hockey club

Title: Circumstances for drop out of youth in chosen ice hockey club Objectives: The main objective of this thesis is to find out the main reasons that led to the players leaving the selected hockey club. The case study focuses on all players aged 15 to 20 who have left the club in the last five years. Methods: A combination of quantitative and qualitative methods was used in this work. Specifically, electronic questionnaires and semi-structured interviews were used to collect data. Individual questions were developed based on existing studies that address this issue as well as the supervisor's expert advice. Results: The main reason for players leaving the club was insufficient technical facilities. The least important reasons were serious injuries, which prevented the continuation of sports activities and interest in other sports. Of the ten most important reasons, six are intrapersonal, two interpersonal and two structural. Salesian Youth Centre - Children and Youth Centre České Budějovice. Activities and current issues.

The bachelor thesis is focused on the Salesian Youth Centre - Children and Youth Centre České Budějovice, on the offered activities and current issues. In the theoretical part I describe the style of Salesian education and the performance of this institution. Further on, I am selected successful projects implemented by the Centre. In the practical part I deal finding the actual problems of the Centre in the form of qualitative research using structured interviews with open questions. The research was conducted with six respondents the employees of the Centre. The aim of the thesis is to characterize the activities of the Centre and find out what problems currently facing the Centre and suggest some optimization recommendations. To meet these objectives have been established two research questions. The first research question seeks to determine which problems in the Centre's activities involved experts considered the most serious. The second research question focuses on solving current problems, propose respondents. The research results are grouped into tables. Based on the investigation it was found that the most serious problems involved experts of the Centre considered primarily a shortage of staff and volunteers, as well as lack of funds, especially for social service. Based on these issues, respondents suggested some solutions, in the form of finding additional financial resources, increase the number of staff and volunteers and better PR of the Centre.
